Adele and Ely have had a combined 80 years of experience in the health field as both Medical Doctor and Chiropractor. So they have had first hand experience in dealing with the health issues of seniors and retirees.
Over the past 30 years they have travelled extensively to 38 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia, including 43 U.S. states. This has given them insights and experience in counselling others regarding their travel needs. Their book, Travel Secrets For Seniors, is the result.
Another area of expertise is in the area of Personal Development. They have both been Certified Demartini Method Consultants and have conducted programs such as the Ah-Ha Experience and Defining Your Life’s Purpose, enabling people to develop skills to reduce emotional issues and to give individuals future direction.
I was born in the wheatbelt town of Merriden in West Australia and grew up and did my schooling in Perth. I did my training as a medical doctor at the University of West Australia and graduated in 1970. In my first year of postgraduate training, I took the opportunity to work in Papua New Guinea which was a humbling experience. Over the years I have been blessed to serve thousands of patients and to have grown and learned from them.
In 1988 I was the recipient of the West Australian Women’s Fellowship award by the state government as recognition of my work in the field of Repetitive Strain Injuries. I also trained in Transactional Analysis for which I was certified in 1989. I also trained with Ely in Dr John Demartini’s Programs such as the Breakthrough Experience and Prophecy which gave us great tools to assist others. I continue to use these principles to assist others.
I suppose that I was born for travel. My parents left Romania and went to Palestine where I was born just after the war. From there we moved to Canada where I grew up, studied and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1969 and then from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1973.
I have had the opportunity to practice in Canada, the USA and Australia. Always at the back of my mind was the idea of stretching my boundaries in my profession but also learning in other areas of life. It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. That teacher was Dr Demartini who took myself along with Adele to the next level.
I retired as a chiropractor in early 2013 and am now devoting my life to inspiring seniors to live life to the fullest and sharing with them my experiences. There is an old saying, “If you stop, you wilt and die much like a plant”. My philosophy is to keep moving and growing.
